Important Information about your MOT Annual Assessment

When entering your information, please ensure that your DVSA ID and Date of Birth matches exactly to that held by the DVSA. Should there be any discrepancy between the information you provide to us and the DVSA, it will prevent your MOT Annual Assessment from being published and therefore your eligibility for the 24/25 MOT Test period.

Adding your MOT Testing Service User ID
(Please ensure your web browser is up to date before starting the assessment)

In order to make things easier, an automatic collection of Annual Assessment records has now been introduced. For this to take place, you are required to enter your eight-digit User ID and Date of Birth. You need to ensure this information matches the information on your profile page. If the information does not match, the automatic transfer cannot happen and the Assessment records will need to be entered manually.

You should check your profile after two days to ensure that the information has been successfully added. If you have any questions, please contact mot@dvsa.gov.uk.

Using a Voucher Code

If you have a voucher code, complete the form with your personal details and enter the code. When you click the “Begin the Test” button you will be taken directly to the page where you can select the Annual Assessment that you need to take.

You will also receive an email with a link to your Assessment. On completion of your Assessment, you will receive your results and a certificate will shortly follow.

Paying for an Individual Assessment

If you do not have a voucher code and need to pay for an individual Assessment, complete the form with your personal details and click the “Begin the Test” button. A secure pop-up box will then display. You will be required to enter an email address along with your card details. Please enter the email address of the individual taking the Assessment so they receive an email confirmation.

Once your payment is approved, you will be taken to a page where you can select the Annual Assessment that you need to take. You can then begin your Assessment. On completion of your Assessment, you will receive your results and a certificate will shortly follow.
